Legend M.D.™ HMEF has the combined functions of bacterial/viral fitration and heat and moisture exchange.
The minimized dead space and weight can improve the fitration effiiency when connected to endotracheal tube
and circuit. While electrostatic hydrophobic membrane protects against cross-contamination, the hygroscopic
membrane retains exhaled moisture for heat exchange and humidifiation. The product is treated with
physiologically safe calcium chloride.
